Visitors to Florida State Parks, including those in Central Florida near Orlando will be able to take advantage of the free admission to enter the parks on September 11-13 as part of the Statewide International Literacy Day on September 8th and National Library Card Signup Month.

De Leon Springs State Park will be hosting a children’s cane pole fishing tournament on Saturday, October 3, 2009 from 9:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m. This event is open to children 15 and under.
