			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Visitors to Florida State Parks, including those in Central Florida near Orlando will be able to take advantage of the free admission to enter the parks on September 11-13 as part of the Statewide International Literacy Day on September 8th and National Library Card Signup Month.</p>

<p>Simply bring a library card, library book, or donate a book and as part of the State Park Literacy Month you will be allowed to enter the park for free!  Central Florida literacy month activities include:</p>

<ul>
<li>Reading by the River<br />
Blue Spring State Park<br />
Sunday, September 13, 10:00 a.m. &#8211; 1:00 p.m.<br />
This event will feature a book exchange and story time on the front porch of the historic Thursby House. Children can bring a gently used book and exchange it for another book. At 12:15 p.m., children of all ages can relax and enjoy a nature themed tale. For more information, call (386) 775-3663.</li>
<li>Story Time with Debbie<br />
Wekiwa Springs State Park<br />
Saturday, September 19, 1:00 p.m. &#8211; 2:00 p.m.<br />
Enjoy an interactive book with master storyteller, Debbie. &#8220;Amazing Things that Animals Do&#8221;, &#8220;Lovable Huggable Manatees&#8221; and &#8220;Truffala Trees that are Saved by the Lorax&#8221; are just a sample of the readings that will be shared with children of all ages. Regular park admission fees apply. For more information, call (407) 884-2008.</li>
